okay i know i havent been uploading my blog recently this is due to my error with the dongle i am currently having i will get that fixed as soon as possible. Anyway i know i havent been blogging much but i have been doin some work. In my previous blog i have shown the nation wide building which is completely finished with all the texture maps and i was really happy with the result sadly its still my favourite one as i did a few more which i will show in this blog but it still hasn't bet the quality to the nation wide building. i showed it to some of my friends and they all like the nation wide one but they also like the other buildings and they commented, "it looks realistic" which is a plus anyway moving on with the blog...
here is another building that i have modeled...basically how i started this is, i started off with a plane and then printed off my diffuse as a material onto the plane and then started to add line horizontally and vertically and extruded in and out then i started to put it together and get it to look like the reference as closely as possible but i do make some changes as i enjoy doing that. However, i think this is a good way and it saves me time as it get's my UVW and diffuse done, all i need to then focus on is the, spec and normal(normal could kill off some time, dependin on how detailed it is).
before i paste the diffuse on top of the plane i get it fixed on photoshop and cut out the window, walls, signs etc and put them separately which leaves it easier for me when it comes to 3dmax. all i then need to do is get the 2d plane into 3d and all that needs is some extruding in and out.

here is how it looked when it was fully attached but i still need to get my normals and spec done for this so i will upload this as soon as it finishes.

i felt as if the brick colour and the style of the brick did not compliment the the classical windows so i thought to change the brick style and colour itself as i mentioned early i do not mind making it look different from the original reference as long as it hold some features or similarities that is fine with me.

anyway i then moved onto another building which i found in town of leicester and started to model this in the same style of how i built the others...here are some snapshots..

i put it all togther and it come to this...

I have not completed this yet but i will add the door today and get both of this modelled and textured fully soon as i do that i will get the traingle added up and see how much i got to spare.
